A Meaningful Life: Part 8, Where I go

As I look to the coming year, I know I will continue to be blessed by my faith and the love from so many in my life and by our outcomes with Sam’s Watch.  My pursuit is to continue to find “hope” in living beyond this pain and I will be doing that this Fall with graduate studies in clinical psychology.   I have applied and been accepted at a college that meets all my current journey needs.  I appreciate everyone’s support who helped me to get my acceptance.  By starting now, I can establish my own clinical practice after my son, Nick, goes to college in three years. I have hope that by getting back to my educational roots and my early perspectives and leveraging my Human Resources and business training along with my very painful personal loss of my son, Sam, that I can help others which in turn, helps me.

Because are there only two types of people in this world? One, those who need help and care. And two, those who need to serve, to care for and help those in need. Or is there a third type? Those who serve and help others and then in turn heal or help themselves. From the spiritual journey I am on, there are three types of people in this world. More, I believe that the third is “my meaningful life.”
